What an amazing first week that Fitness Solutions had for Biggest Loser 4! A hearty congratulations to each and every one of you that worked so hard and gave it your all.

A word from Commander Vieux

An email sent to our Biggest Loser 3 Contestants, from Commander Machelle Vieux. She has been a big supporter of our program and has helped out so much we've made her an honorary Fitness Solutions Trainer! Machelle, thank you for all that you do.

Her letter-

"To the winners of Biggest Loser III (all of you)

I had to jet out of the final meeting, so just a few words for you .

- Do you realize you all look different?  Amazingly different.  You all have transformed in the way you look, the way you carry yourself, your confidence, and new positive attitude.  Truly, you have noticeable changes in the weight and inches you've lost.  By the looks of your baggy clothes, many of you need to do some clothes shopping to find smaller sizes!

- Think about when you started this program.  Eight weeks ago, you were hesitant, unsure, feeling awkward about this whole thing.  Now, you march right into the gym and jump on those machines, and take control of the weights just like you own the place!  What confidence you've gained!  When you started, many of you struggled with "the ball", couldn't do a push up, huffed and puffed after a minute on the cardio machines.  Now, you make it look so easy - that's progress.  

- I've witnessed a transformation in you, seeing you take a 180 degree turn in your outlook on exercise and nutrition.  Don't let it stop!  The healthy lifestyle changes you've learned and endured these past eight weeks will benefit you for the rest of your life.  Continue the exercise and nutritional good practices and you'll continue to see the benefits.  Bruce Whisenhunt and Larry Dove are living testimony of the benefits of continued good habits.  Bruce lost 54 pounds at the completion of Biggest Loser II - to date, he is minus 70 pounds.  Larry, with his fake hip and replacement knee, doesn't let any excuse take him down - he beat his high blood pressure and cholesterol and he doesn't need no stinkin' medications!

Biggest Loser 3 Now Complete and the winner is-

After a grueling eight weeks, 27 people finished Biggest Loser 3. As of the final weigh in, the Title of Biggest Loser 3 Winner was still up for grabs. Jose Silva, the winner of weeks six and seven was our big winner at last. We will be posting pics and video soon.

The Top Ten Winners from Biggest Loser 3 -Spring 2010 Contest are:

Jose Silva He lost 45.5 pounds and 18.16% percent of his body weight. Congratulations Jose, you worked your ass off-LITERALLY!

2. Sherry Holdbrook Lost 22. 5 pounds, and 15.36% body weight

4. Dude Dewalt Lost 33.5 pounds and 11.65 % body weight

Message from Bruce to his team

"Hey Team
We took 4 of the spots this week for the top 10 AGAIN!!!!
We also have the smallest team which means we are kicking butts and taken names.
Week 7 big time push this week and even more when we get to the home stretch in week 8.  This is where that individual challenge really helps out, if the plan says cardio for 45 min push through to 50, try to get a second session in during the day or add an additional cardio machine for an extra 10 min.  Remember you are getting stronger so add some extra weight, the last rep in each set should be a bit of a struggle to complete.

To date as a team we have shed 101.5 lbs, not bad for 6 weeks of work, just a reminder for our Thursday night and Sat morning sessions, great time to work out together and encourage each other.

As you know, by now, the contest last 8 weeks but the results are intended to last a life time and hopefully and healthy extended life time as we break old habits and reap the benefits of a stronger healthier body!
